Chart & Stethoscope

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I have received clinical training allowing me to:

  • take a comprehensive medical history

  • perform physical exams

  • recommend lab testing or further investigations if necessary

  • make diagnoses

Approach to health:

  • emphasis on diet and lifestyle

  • recognizes the role of mental-emotional factors

  • is extremely comprehensive. It evaluates all factors contributing to health such as nutritional status, sleep quality, immune function, gut health, hormonal health, etc.

  • is pro-active by promoting health and strengthening the body to try and prevent future disease

Naturopathic Medicine:

  • can help treat a variety of health conditions

  • can be used safely alongside  medications

  • can provide answers for bothersome, vague symptoms

  • can help reduce side effects from medications

  • uses longer appointment visits to thoroughly explore health concerns

  • is not trying to replace your medical doctor

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I've had different training and education compared to a Medical Doctor. I see this as an advantage when collaborating patient care - two heads are often better than one. I offer a different perspective to health and collaborate openly with all of my patients' health care providers.
